What is text-to-video on Video?
Text-to-video turns a written prompt into a short clip �?no still required. In the Video workspace you pick a model, set duration / resolution / ratio when that model supports them, then queue a job and watch progress in history.
When should I use text-to-video instead of image-to-video?
Use text-to-video for concept drafts, hooks, and B-roll when identity is not locked yet. Switch to image-to-video when a person, product, or wardrobe must stay consistent �?start from a still (and an end frame when the model allows it).
Which models can I use for text-to-video?
The live catalog comes from Video’s model list (nav AI Models and the studio picker). Families include Kling, Seedance, and Wan; others appear when your account’s provider channel enables them. Each row shows whether text-to-video is supported and the credit cost for that mode.
How do credits work for a text-to-video job?
Each model has its own text-to-video credit price. Credits come from unexpired credit batches (purchases, grants, and daily check-in rewards). Failed generations are refunded to your batches. Track kept-shot math on the credits guide.
Can I set aspect ratio, duration, and resolution?
Yes �?but only the options that model exposes. Studio settings open in a dialog and whitelist values per model (for example some Seedance / Kling rows offer 720p�?K and several ratios; Wan and others use their own ranges). Test a shorter duration before spending on a longer take.
How do I write a better text-to-video prompt?
Name the subject, what they do, camera move, scene, style, pacing, and what to avoid. One clear primary motion beats a crowded shot list. After a take you like, use Recreate on the history card or open the clip detail to tweak and re-queue.
Where do I generate, and can I compare models?
Open /app �?with no media attached, the studio runs text-to-video. Try the same prompt on another model from the picker to compare motion and look. Browse finished clips on the showcase or compare strengths on the model guide.
What changes when I upgrade, and can I use clips commercially?
Paid plans add credits and commercial-oriented exports per plan terms. Options marked VIP require an active VIP membership; always confirm live pricing on pricing and license notes on commercial rights. You can download succeeded outputs and keep iterating in the same workspace.
